PSP’s Joomla website site had become outdated and insufficient for handling the company's growing operational needs.Several key integrations impacted large-scale operations. And traffic spikes were a known issue.
A UX redesign was needed to better align user experience with brand identity. Every solution implemented had to be robust, performant, and scalable.
Our solution
Because of its robust architecture and powerful integration capabilities, Magento was selected to support PSP's digital transformation. Magecom migrated PSP from Joomla to Magento, laying their foundation for enhanced e-commerce capabilities, now and in the future.
Magecom also performed a best practices-based UX/UI redesign to support world-class shopping experiences that fulfill PSP's brand promise. We introduced auto-scaling to ensure seamless processing during even the busiest times

PSP needed a Magento-to-ERP integration that would enable real-time order and inventory updates and ensure data accuracy across a range of complex operational processes. Their unique warehouse architecture and order management capabilities required custom development

Modular and custom integrations
The challenge
In an effort to enhance user experience and loyalty among 300 pharmacies in Tbilisi alone, PSP needed to optimize product delivery to ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting. Complexity increased around key logistical constraints such as pharmacy hours and customer location.
To boot, local customers routinely paid for services using a proprietary payment method offered by a popular regional bank in Georgia. Though widely-used, the platform’s backend was highly-customized and required a custom integration to ensure secure, reliable transactions, and compliance with local regulations.
Our solution
Magecom enabled and configured Magento Multisource Inventory (MSI) in order to support PSP's extensive number of inventory locations (pharmacies), ensure speed and performance in their customers’ user sessions.
We also developed a custom integration with Bolt and Glovo delivery services to enable real-time decisioning and dynamically re-route deliveries according to pharmacy hours and staff availability. Customers could also select a pick-up location of their choice.
Magecom integrated the unique, local payment method into PSP’s Magento store for a seamless experience with their customers’ favorite payment method, and ensuring an optimal and pleasing purchasing experience, even in the face of various and competing logistical constraints.
